HND THREE YEARS (REGULAR EVENING)

  • applicant for admission to a program at the Kumasi Technical University must have credit in three (3) WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), and Credit passes in 3 WASSCE/SSSCE elective subjects (Economics, General knowledge in Art, Chemistry, Biology, clothing and textiles, and Food and Nutrition with an aggregate of 36/24 respectively or better.
  • Advanced Level applicants
  • should have six (6) Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics, English and a science subject and
  • three (3) Advanced Level passes including Biology or one of the following; Economics, Agricultural science, Chemistry and General knowledge in Art.
  • Holders of Cookery for the Catering Industry Parts I and II with English, Mathematics and Science will be admitted to first year.
  • Mature applicants should be;
  • at least twenty-five (25) years
  • Have five (5) passes at the Ordinary Level including Mathematics, English and a science subject (Economics, Biology, Agricultural science, Chemistry and General knowledge in Art) OR
  • Five (5) passes in WASSCE/SSSCE including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, and passes in two (2) elective science subjects in any of the following; Economics, Biology, Agricultural science, Chemistry, General knowledge in Art, and Food and Nutrition  
  • Foreign Applicants

Foreign applicants from accredited/recognized institutions with equivalent qualifications will be considered for admission
